Awareness Programs

Community education campaigns on child rights, gender equity, disability inclusion, and more.

Who It Reaches

  • Parents and caregivers

  • Women enrolled in literacy classes

  • Local teachers and youth

  • Members of marginalized or under-informed groups

Our Approach

  • Interactive Community Sessions: Hosted at CECC or in coordination with Tokha Municipality and local schools.

  • Workshops & Campaigns: Engaging formats including storytelling, film screenings, skits, and Q&A panels.

  • Participant-Led Discussions: Encouraging open dialogue and reflection to challenge stigma and cultural barriers.

What We Focus On

  • Child Protection & Child Rights: Education on the rights of children, safe environments, and the importance of schooling.

  • Gender Equality & Women’s Rights: Discussions on equity, leadership, and prevention of gender-based violence.

  • Disability Inclusion: Promoting understanding, respect, and inclusion of differently-abled individuals in schools and communities.

  • Health & Safety: Basic health, hygiene, and wellness practices for families and caregivers.

At the Chelsea Education and Community Center, we believe that lasting change begins with awareness. In collaboration with the local Tokha municipality, our Awareness Programs engage the community in vital conversations about child rights, gender equality, disability inclusion, and more. By educating and mobilizing people at the grassroots level, we aim to build a more just, compassionate, and resilient society—starting right here in Dhapasi.

How You Can Help

Sponsor a Campaign: Help fund materials, facilitators, and community logistics.

Why It Matters

Awareness isn’t optional—it’s essential. Communities that understand the issues are more likely to:

  • Prevent harm to children and women

  • Support inclusion and empowerment

  • Work together for social change

When knowledge is shared, transformation takes root.
